Case Study
Lanora House Brand & Website Development
Branding & website direction for an antiques trading platform and vintage raffles.
Project Overview
Lanora House needed a contemporary identity that still felt at home with heirloom furniture and one-of-a-kind finds. I designed a serif logotype, supporting monogram, and UI layouts that balance ornate textures with crisp typography so collectors can browse rare objects with confidence.
- Role: Brand & Web Designer
- Deliverables:Functional Website, Logo Suite, Brand Identity
Brand design
The brand identity was developed to reflect ideas of heritage, craftsmanship and longevity. I explored visual references from traditional auction houses, maritime trade and British antiques culture to help shape the overall direction. A muted but characterful colour palette was chosen alongside understated typography to give the brand a timeless feel, allowing the products to remain the main focus. The identity was designed to work flexibly across digital platforms, social media, and potential future applications such as packaging or printed materials.
Website design & build
The website was designed and built to support both direct antique sales and raffle-based product drops. My focus was on creating a clear and easy-to-use experience, balancing visual storytelling with practical functionality. The interface prioritises strong product imagery, simple navigation and clear information around pricing and purchasing. From a technical perspective, the site was built as a custom solution to support e-commerce features, raffles and future growth. Design decisions were closely linked to how the site functions, helping maintain a consistent visual language across elements such as product listings, baskets and checkout flows.
Outcome
The outcome is a cohesive brand identity and digital platform that presents Lanora House as both credible and contemporary. This project demonstrates my ability to take a concept from early brand development through to a fully functioning website, combining visual design, UX thinking and hands-on implementation.
