The brief

AJC Removals & Clearances is a removals and site clearance company. The brief was a clear, trustworthy site that turns visitors into enquiries quickly, reflects how straightforward the team actually is, and is fast and easy to update.

  • Role: Web designer and developer
  • Deliverables: Functional website, copywriting, content structure

Design and build

One page with anchor navigation, built from scratch. A bold orange and dark palette so it feels energetic rather than fussy, with the type sized so people read things in the order they actually need them.

The sections cover the core services, a four-step how-it-works flow, a gallery of real job photographs and customer reviews taken from Facebook. The main button is WhatsApp, because that is how most people already get in touch with them.

Four days from brief to launch, on clean semantic HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript, and the business now has somewhere to send the people who ring it.

Outcome

The site is live and used daily to take enquiries and bookings. It was built on the Picsel system, which is what made four days possible without the build being thin.
