Project Overview
AJC Removals & Clearances is a professional removals and site clearance company serving Cornwall, Devon and the surrounding regions. The brief was to design and build a clear, trustworthy website that converts visitors into enquiries quickly. The site needed to reflect the team's reliability and straightforward approach while being fast, mobile-first and easy to update.

Website design & build
The site was designed and built from scratch as a single-page layout with anchor navigation. The design uses a bold orange and dark colour palette to communicate energy and professionalism, with strong typographic hierarchy to guide visitors through the key information. Sections cover the company's core services, a simple four-step how-it-works flow, a gallery of real job photos and Facebook-sourced customer reviews. A WhatsApp CTA was included prominently as the primary conversion point, reflecting how the client actually receives most enquiries. The site is fully responsive, loads quickly and was built with clean semantic HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript.
Outcome
The finished site gives AJC Removals a credible and professional online presence that accurately represents the quality of their service. The project showcases my ability to take a business brief and translate it into a functional, conversion-focused website from design through to deployment, including copywriting and content structuring.
